An old cut diamond is a natural diamond, like all our diamonds, but it has been cut by hand into an Old European round cut, and in some rare cases into an Old Mine cushion cut. These were the predominant cuts during the 1700-1940's. This means that these diamonds have been walking the earth for up to 300 years before reaching us!
