At Caroline Hjerpe, sustainability and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we create.
All our jewellery is handmade by us in 100% recycled 18k gold, red or white, or 100% recycled sterling silver. Each piece is designed to be worn every day, not just for now but for generations.
Recycled 18k solid gold
Red and white, both 100% recycled. Gold can be melted and made new without losing anything, so there is no reason to mine more of it.
Recycled sterling silver
The same pieces in a lighter metal, at a price that lets you start somewhere.
Antique diamonds
Cut by hand, 80 to 300 years ago. They catch light differently to a modern stone because no two were cut the same.
Coloured stones
Sapphires, spinels and tourmalines, natural and picked one at a time. Never two identical.
Gemstones
Every gemstone we set is naturally created by the Earth and sourced with deep knowledge.
We work with the best gemstone sourcing specialists in Sweden. They buy rough stones directly in the regions of origin, from areas where they have personal connections, and cut them at carefully chosen family run workshops. That is why we can tell you the origin of almost every stone in our selection.
No lab grown, ever
We set natural and antique stones only. A stone that took a very long time to exist is worth more to us than one that took a fortnight.
