Diamonds walking the earth for 80-300 years!

We are proud to introduce our new collection of old cut Antique Diamonds!

An old cut diamond is a natural diamond, like all our diamonds, but it has been cut into an Old European round cut, and in some rare cases into an Old Mine cushion cut. These were the predominant cuts during the 1700-1940's. This means that these diamonds have been walking the earth for between 80-300 years already before reaching us! How cool is that?

Our old cut diamonds are all hand-picked by a few dedicated diamond specialists who only handle recycled diamonds. This ensures that our antique diamonds are not mixed up with newly manufactured goods!

Every year, around 130 million carats of gem quality diamonds are mined from the earth, being cut into modern round brilliant cuts and shapes. Since old cut diamonds stopped being cut around 1940, there is a limited number in existence. Each of them were cut by hand, so every old cut diamond is truly one-of-a-kind! Since the cutting was made by hand, not by laser, the diamonds couldn't be acquired trough a click on the computer. To us, there is a lot more romance in these old ways!

We adore old cuts because of how they set themselves apart from the modern diamond industry. When choosing an old cut diamond, your purchase adds no further harm to the climate or environment from processes such as mining or synthetic growth. And due to the rarity of old cut diamonds, you will rarely (if ever) find them in the malls or on the web.

We love each and every one of our antique reclaimed diamonds for their vintage charm, so different from the modern laser-cut look. We hope you will love it too and enjoy being the next chapter in the history of this diamond.
