Where do you craft your jewelry and where can I see them in person?

Every piece of our jewelry is handcrafted by us in our workshop in Södermalm, Stockholm—just next door to our shop.

You're always welcome to visit us! Drop by anytime or book a private appointment. We also offer meetings in Malmö, Sweden.

What materials do you use?

At Caroline Hjerpe, sustainability and craftsmanship are at the heart of everything we create.
All our jewelry is handmade by us, using 100% recycled 18k gold (red or white) or 100% recycled sterling silver. Quality is our top priority—each piece is designed to be worn every day, not just for now, but for generations to come.

How do you source your gemstones and diamonds?

Every gemstone and diamond we use is naturally formed by the Earth, sourced with care and expertise through our close collaboration with some of Sweden’s top specialists.

Our colorful gemstones come straight from their regions of origin, handpicked by experts with deep local knowledge. They source rough gems from trusted areas and collaborate with family-run cutting workshops that uphold ethical and sustainable practices. Transparency is key—we always ensure clear insight into mining and cutting.

When it comes to diamonds, sustainability is our priority. We favor recycled and antique diamonds, but if you choose a newly sourced one, rest assured it’s conflict-free and of the highest quality—our brilliant-cut diamonds are Tw VS for exceptional clarity and beauty.

How do I maintain and care for my jewelry?

With proper care, your jewelry will last a lifetime. To keep it sparkling, soak your piece in lukewarm water with a few drops of liquid dish soap for 10-30 minutes, then gently clean with a soft toothbrush. Sizes

I don't know my ring size?

No worries! When you place your order online, just select the option “I need a ring sizer kit.” We’ll send it to you in a few days. Once you’ve measured your size at home, simply email us the number, and we’ll start making your ring.

If you prefer to visit a local jeweler for sizing, that works too! If the size they give you doesn’t match our measurements, just let us know what size they provided, and we’ll take it from there.

How do I find the right ring size for a gift?

If you’re buying a ring for someone else, here are a few ways to figure out the size:

  • Borrow a ring they already wear on the same finger and measure the diameter in millimeters. Our sizes match the ring’s diameter—so if it measures 17mm, go for size 17.

  • If possible, bring the ring to us or a local jeweler for help measuring.

  • No ring to borrow? Compare their fingers to yours to get an estimate. It’s not the most precise method, but every clue helps!

  • Ask a friend or family member—they might already know their size.

And don’t worry—if the size isn’t perfect, we offer one free resize within 60 days (you’ll just need to cover shipping if you can’t drop by our shop).

What if my ring doesn’t fit?

No worries! If your ring doesn’t fit, you can send it back, and we’ll resize it for free within 60 days of receiving it. If you can’t drop it off at our store, you’ll need to cover the shipping costs both ways.

After 60 days, resizing is still possible, but there will be a fee:

  • 18k gold rings – 800 SEK

  • Silver rings with a stone – 800 SEK

  • Plain silver rings – 200 SEK

Shipping & Returns

Where do you ship, and what are the shipping costs?

We ship worldwide!

Shipping rates (as of 03/2025):

  • Sweden: Free for orders over 5000 SEK, 89 SEK for orders under 5000 SEK

  • Rest of the world: Free for orders over 7000 SEK, 179 SEK for orders under 7000 SEK

Click & Collect in store: Free

When will my order arrive and how will I receive it?

Our average production time is 5-7 weeks, including crafting and delivery. Some pieces may ship sooner if they’re already made. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a dispatch notification with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

All our shipments are insured, traceable, and require a signature or official identification upon delivery. Depending on your location, it will be delivered either to your door or your nearest pick-up point.

If you're in Stockholm, you can also choose to click & collect from our store.

Shopping from outside the EU?

If you're ordering from outside the EU, your country's tax costs will be automatically deducted from the total price in your shopping cart. The transport company will then calculate any additional customs duties, VAT, or taxes and send you an invoice once your package is shipped.

We recommend checking your country’s government website for specific customs rules and fees to avoid any surprises!

Does my order come with shipping insurance?

Yes! All our shipments are fully insured from the moment they leave us until they reach you, ensuring coverage for any loss or damage during transit.

Whats your return and exchange policy?

We offer returns and exchanges up to 14 days after you receive your jewelry. To be eligible, the item must be unused, in the same condition as when you received it, and in its original packaging.

Please note that engraved items, gift cards, and shipping/engraving costs are non-refundable.

You will be responsible for the return shipping costs, which are non-refundable.

My new jewelry looks damaged?

Each item is handcrafted and unique, which means there may be slight imperfections that add to the charm and character of the piece. However, if you believe your jewelry has a production defect, we’re here to help!

Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order, and we’ll assist you in resolving the issue.
