What's up team Caroline Hjerpe?

A lot, in fact. Not only have we recently launched Les Femmes - quite a few other exciting things have been happening within Les Femmes of Team Caroline Hjerpe too, and so we felt that it was about time to share a sweet little update and catch up with you all. Throughout all that our lives entail we do of course wear our favorite jewelry - pieces made to be carried and last through all stages of life. Anyhow, let’s start out in the South of Sweden, and chat to les femmes of our Malmö showroom.

What's up with... Linnea?
We like to call her “the spider in the net” or sometimes “the glue” - Linnea is nothing but a real gem and she often seems to be what keeps us together. Yet, we are going to have to manage without her this upcoming year because two weeks ago she went on maternity leave. That’s right, our family is growing.

"Saying goodbye last week to our dreamteam and to all of you, our followers that I’ve been having so much contact with over the last couple of years, wasn’t easy. For that I am in fact grateful. To have a job that you love as much as I do isn’t something to take for granted. Even though I know I’ll be back and that we’ll stay in touch during my new adventure it felt a bit sad. But mostly, of course, very exciting! Me and my love Hampus are having our first baby in just a few weeks and I can’t wait to meet this little person that’s been growing inside of me for the last 9 months. That being said, I will miss my girls and being a part of this creative team so much. Another thing I’ll seriously miss is all the jewelry… I love love love picking out colorful gems and watching our goldsmiths make them come to life by creating sparkly jewelry pieces with them! But now it's time for my biggest adventure yet, and what a time to have a baby!? Summer has just arrived in Sweden and everything is bursting with life. I’m filling my first days off work with spending a lot of time in the garden, planting flowers, hanging out with all our animals - especially our little lambs (yes, I’m a farm girl nowadays), resting and drying newly washed baby clothes in the sun. How can they be so tiny and cute?"

"Even though it’s common to get more swollen fingers while you’re pregnant I’ve been able to wear all my rings as usual. I'm thankful for that, because without them I feel naked! My favorite everyday pieces are my blue sapphire Bonbon, Golden Wilma, Golden Anna, Golden Hlin, Golden Malin & Golden Super Thin Stacker. I’m also planning on treating myself and celebrating the baby once it’s born with either a Golden Word ring with the baby's name or a Golden Kim necklace stamped with the babys first letter - we just need to figure out the gender and name first. I’ll see you all soon again, I’ve heard time flies while looking after a little one!"

What's up with... that talk about a puppy?

Well, Linnea is not the only one expanding her family. Emma is getting a miniature dachshund and in only a few weeks time a sweet little puppy will join us in the Malmö store. We can’t wait to meet our new colleague!

"Voff Voff! Hi my human hasn't decided on my name yet but I’m excited to hangout in the store and get lots of cuddles. I might be a bit crazy the first few weeks. Sorry about that. Voff Voff!"

What's up with... all the new family additions?

Yes, well... talking about new Caroline Hjerpe family additions, we do in fact have a human and grown-up one of those too! Nearly as cute as puppy-who-still-hasn’t-got-a-name, but a little more talkative.

“I’m so excited to now be a part of the Caroline Hjerpe team, it truly feels like a bonus-family although I’ve only been here for a little more than a month. Marketing and communication are two of my many specialties (aside from knitting, doing pilates and drinking orange wine) and I’ll be here to keep things running whilst Linnea is away. You’ll find me in behind the scenes in the Malmö shop, come say hi! I can't wait to meet you all!”

And with summer just around the corner we are all excited to put on our best pieces and let our jewelry sparkle throughout a season of sunshine, ice cream, dips in the ocean, and spontaneous afterworks. What are you up to this summer, and which pieces will become this seasons staples?
